If you are a resident of Maharashtra you can still find some colleges that comes under your score. But if you are in general category then it is really very difficult to get into a good college. So in both the cases, if you have the option and willingness to drop a year and give it another try then definitely go for it and aim for anywhere above 95-99 percentile in MHCET to get into the best college.

Hello! At 61 percentile in the CET, it is impossible to get admission into a good college since the cutoffs of all such colleges are generally 99+ (for the MS course). I suggest you wait for a year and give another try with much better study preparation. All the best!
