Will I get admission in Delhi University through CUET for BA if one of the subjects I appeared for CUET is not part of my 12th subjects?

I need admission for BA (hons) English. The criteria says I need to appear in CUET for English and three domain subjects. I appeared for English and three domain subjects in CUET but one of the domain subjects is not a part of my 12th subjects.

Yes, you can get admission to Delhi University for BA through CUET even if you are chosen subjects in cuet was not part of your class 12 subjects. According to the DU's eligibility criteria it does not provide anyone mandate where it is written that the CUET subjects must match your class 12 subject

But when I read the Information Bulletin for UG programme admissions 2025-26 of University, It is stated multiple times that-"It is mandatory for the candidates to appear in CUET (UG)-2025 in those subjects in which s (he) is appearing/has passed Class XII".
