It's impossible to say for certain whether you'll get a rank in the PUBDET exam without knowing your score and category.
Factors Affecting Rank:
- Your score in the PUBDET exam is the primary factor determining your rank.
- The total number of candidates who appeared for the PUBDET exam in your category also plays a role. A higher number of applicants typically leads to a more competitive environment and a higher cut-off rank for admission.
- The reservation system in India allocates seats based on categories like General (UR), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC), and Scheduled Tribe (ST).
-
Ranks would be awarded to all the students who appear for PUBDET exam. WBJEEB will prepare the merit ranks based on the candidates to score in the PUBDET 2024 exam.
The rank shall be in the name and style of ‘GMR’ (General Merit Rank).
The ranking will be done in descending order of marks scored in the PUBDET exam.
Separate reserved category merit position will also be indicated for the respective category of students: SC rank, ST rank, OBC-A rank, OBC-B rank, Pwd rank as applicable.
Counselling/allotment of seats/admission will be done based on GMR.
