    Hi,
    The probationary officers will be on probation of two years during which they will be given intensive training. Towards the end of their probation / training period, they will be subjected to a screening process.
    While those Officers who achieve the predetermined standards may be confirmed and given placement in the next higher grade i.e., Officer Middle Management Grade Scale-II, others who qualify in the test but fail to achieve the standards set for placement in Middle Management Grade Scale-II, will be confirmed as Officer Junior Management Grade Scale-I.     Yes, you can get a salary of rupees 23,700 during the probation period. After the probation period you are allowed for full salary. You will also get various allowances like dearness allowance, house rent allowance, city compensatory allowance and special allowance. There are also other benefits and perquisites such as leased accommodation, travelling allowance, medical aid, newspaper reimbersment and telephone.

    Hello,
    If you qualify the Bank PO exam you need to go through the two year probation period.
    Of course, you will get the salary in this two year probation period or say training period.
    After successful completion of the training period, you will get the permanent officer post. or will get posted by the branch manager.
    There is also a great opportunity for the promotions. One can get the higher post in the banks during his service period. There are many examples who joined the bank as a bank PO and reach up to the CEO post.
