Will I get IIT seat at sc category rank 3216?

I got no CRL rank but sc category rank 3216 with 32 marks. Also, I am a preparatory student of IIT Dhanbad of petroleum branch,2020. Can I get another seat this JoSAA Councilling or should I go with preparatory seat only? If I sit for Councilling but didn't choose any seat will my prep seat be save?
