Will I have to give my prelims again or can I directly give Mains if I have passed my UPSC prelim exam and have failed in Mains?

    You have to follow the whole process again to become an IAS officer. Once you are out of the track then, you have to go back to the step 1 which means you need to write mains and prelims again.

    Yes, you have to give your prelims again because once you are out of the first attempt, next time you have to follow all the procedures from the beginning once again.
