No, applicants will not be issued any physical copy of the UPESMET 2025 socrecard. On declaration of UPESMET results candidates must login at the official website of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (upes.ac.in) to download and take the print of the UPESMET 2025 socrecard immediately. Candidates must ensure to check the details mentioned on the UPESMET scorecard. The following details that will be mentioned on the UPESMET scorecard:
- Name of the candidate
- Date of examination
- Section-wise score
- Overall score
- Rank obtained
- Instruction to candidate.
Candidates must note that scores obtained in UPESMET 2025 will be valid only for 2025-26

On the day of UPESMET examination, candidates must keep the following system requirements ready:

- Laptop, desktop computer, and Android mobiles (phones and tablets) only
- Operating system
- For desktop and laptops: Window 7 or above (Window 10 recommended), Mac OS 10.13 and above, and Linux (Ubuntu version 18.04, 16.04, 15,04 only) systems.
- For android devices: Android verison 6 and later
- Browsers
- Google Chrome (84.0.4147.135 or later)
- Configuration
- Processor: Core 2 Duo or above
- Processor Speed
- 1.5GHz and above
- RAM: Minimum 1 GB
- Internet Speed
- Minimum 2 Mbps

UPESMET exam is conducted for a duration of two hours. Candidates can appear for the UPESMET exam anytime between 10 AM to 2 PM on given date. UPESMET time will be counted as and when the candidate starts the test. No candidates will be able to access the test window beyond the mentioned timelines.
There is no provision for negative marking for incorrect answer (s). Candidates will be awarded one mark for every correct answer. Each question will have four options, candidates will be required to select the correct answer. The UPESMET exam is designed to assess a candidate's knowledge and skills in related fields. The UPESMET exam is conducted online. Candidates receive one mark for each correct answer with no negative marking.
