Will it affect getting into old IIM's if there is a gap of more than 1 year after one's graduation and till the CAT exam?

I have scored 80.2 % in class X, Class XII- 65 %, B.Tech - 71.8 %. I did my graduation from NIT, Trichy and worked for an IT company for 5 months. There is a gap of more than year after I left my job and till I appear for CAT.
