Will it be a good choice to opt for regular MBA? Is it worth to invest 10 lacs in MBA?

Currently, I am doing a job at 2.4 LPA and pursuing MBA through distance. I want to join a top B-school for regular MBA.

    Hi,
it make sense to leave the job and do full time MBA if you make it to top 50 institutes.
    here is the snapshot:
If you got admission to top 10 institutes in India, you may need to shell out fee of Rs 3 lakhs (FMS, JBIMS) to 18 lakhs (IIMs, XLRI, NMIMS etc)
your average package will be 13 lakhs. then this definitely makes sense.
if you make to next top 11 to top 20, you may expect CTC of around 7 lakhs which is still not bad.
for top 20 to 30 you may expect around 6 lakhs and for rest average package of 4 lakhs
if you are earning 2.4 lakhs now, assuming you will get 20% hike in your package, after 2 years your earning will be approx 2.9 l

It is better to do executive MBA from a reputed one (IIMC, ISB- Hyderabad) as you are a working professional and you do not need to put much efforts in CAT to get the weekend programme, or if you think to leave the job then ensure you score higher in CAT, otherwise it will be arid to get the advantage of your experience after taking bank loan / huge investment.
