Will it be a good choice to take admission in IIT for B.Tech if I score good marks in JEE Mains 2018?
I failed to qualify JEE Mains. I have already dropped a year for the preparation of JEE Mains. I am planning to pursue B.Sc.

You have already dropped one year for JEE. Dropping another year for JEE may not be a wise decision. IITs are not the end of world. You may rework you strategy and decide on alternate career path. You can achieve your career goals differently by being different and excelling in whatever you do.
