Will it be a good idea to change my course in college as I am from science stream but want to go for IAS?

Hi, It is not necessary that you need to have a degree in a particular course or a stream to pursue IAS that is to write UPSC exam. You can do any degree and appear for it as the questions are mainly political and geographical. There will be an option to choose an optional subject. For that there are many courses like maths, biology, etc. So, you can do any degree but from a recognized university. But IAS is compulsory to have a degree to do IAS and to write UPSC exam.
