Will it be better if I switch from the technical team to HR team at my office and then do an MBA after 1 year?

Yes, you can opt for MBA in HR. 2 years of work experience is apt for doing MBA. You can try to get into B-school known for MBA HR like: 1. TISS. 2. XLRI. 3. IIMs. 4. SP Jain, etc.
