    Hi,
I don't think so, it will be difficult for you to pursue MA in economics if you are from commerce background because in commerce you already have economics knowledge and then B.Com is not about economics though but a little bit understanding you do get.
It might be a bit difficult but you can easily overcome it. You should go for it.
Top colleges for pursuing MA in economics are:
    • Indian Statistical Institute - Kolkata / Delhi.
    • Delhi School of Economics, Delhi.
    • Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai.
    • Madras School of Economics, Madras.
    • Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune.
    • UPES, Dehradu
    ...more
