    It's better but first qualify GATE so that it would be better you to join in any government sector. Nowadays many government sectors are making GATE as the qualification for them. M.Tech is not that useful. Go with government jobs preparation.

    No. Start preparing for govt. Exams. Go for masters only if you want to go for professor.
