Will it work if I get a B.Sc in computer science instead of a B.Tech in the same?
I am currently studying in XII standard & I want to be a Computer Engineer. What will be my career choices after doing so?

Dear,
If you want to become an engineer then obviously you must go with B.Tech Computer Science. The reasons why I suggest you this, I can tell you some facts:-
1) B.Tech will give you a technical hand which is highly preferred by companies. A technical person is supposed to tackle problems with ease.
2) You have more carrier options available after B.Tech. It will give you more salary in any firm or company.
3) You have an opportunity of foreign placements through B.Tech.
To pursue this degree, you must choose a better college for this who provides quality education, better infrastructure, facilities, lots of job openings and placements. I...more -
It will only work if, you also do your specialization in same field immediately after completing B.Sc because merely doing B.Sc in computer science will not be sufficient as a professional. In industry BCA plus MCA combined is considered as equivalent as doing B.Tech in computer science.
So, you can understand that by just doing B.Sc will not make you a professional in computer science. Therefore, you need to do specialization.
