Will it work if I get a B.Sc in computer science instead of a B.Tech in the same?
I am currently studying in XII standard & I want to be a Computer Engineer. What will be my career choices after doing so?

If you want to become an engineer then obviously you must go with B.Tech Computer Science. The reasons why I suggest you this, I can tell you some facts:-

It will only work if, you also do your specialization in same field immediately after completing B.Sc because merely doing B.Sc in computer science will not be sufficient as a professional. In industry BCA plus MCA combined is considered as equivalent as doing B.Tech in computer science.

First, you have to understand the value of both degrees as they both are different. B.Tech value as a Engineering degree and B.Sc is a normal graduation.
First, you have to decide your future education than choose the program accordingly.
