Will job experience have any importance on my selection procedure at IIM? If so, which degree will be more helpful B.Tech or B.Sc?

Yes, job experience is required in most cases for IIMS. Your degree can be any though. But, being a B.Tech will be much beneficial in terms of prospects and growth.

Nowadays, most IIMS are looking for people with work experience rather than freshers, but if you can be a 100 percentile in CAT, then well miracles do happen.
