Will LLB be a good choice after doing MBA? I am a working person and having 2+ years experience in banking and non banking sector.

If you are looking for a career as a Legal Advisor, you can do LLB after MBA. MBA with LLB helps you to find a better career in the corporate sector as a Legal Advisor, Manager to director. LLM in business law is desirable qualification to reach top most positions in legal support areas.

Both LLB and MBA degrees make sense in their respective areas. Let's analyse what if a person completes an LLB and then acquires an MBA (I think this is the motive of the question) for the purpose of corporate jobs. If you want me to explain about other areas, kindly let me know in comments. Firstly let's explore LLB. Bachelor of Law is an undergraduate professional degree required to enter into a legal profession. LLB gives you an understanding of legal principles, legal procedures and laws and regulations of countries and then the idea of corporate governance & legal compliance and legal procedures to enter into business transactions. There is a wide range of career options available for LLB graduates and I guess that range is wider than graduates from any other fields. There is absolutely no necessity to acquire an MBA for any job in corporate legal and legal professionals tend to learn the elements of business management as they jump the corporate ladder. No recruiter ever expects a person with both LLB and MBA degree and any job. There is, however, few exceptions: 1. Law firm ownership: If you are a managing partner of a law firm and lack sufficient experience to expand your business then you might take some course like MBA to understand and acquire entrepreneurship and management skills. 2. People Management: If you want to move in project management role like in consultancy firms or legal process outsourcing (LPO) where you would be required to manage a large number of people then doing an MBA would be an added advantage but there is absolutely no necessity to do so. 3. Labour Law jobs: If you want to work in labor law compliance then an MBA in Human Resource management would be an added advantage.

Greetings, That depends if you have done MBA in finance or HR and if you are working in a company or firm which deals with legal works then only LLB degree is worth to pursue, but as you said that you work in the banking field then LLB degree won't give you a competitive edge.
