Will LPU be the best option to pursue mechanical engineering?

Ofcourse yes. I am an Alumni of LPU and had so many friends in B.Tech ME. On the basis of their feedback in our discussions I can say LPU is having edge over any other University for engineering courses and specially B.Tech Mechanical. Let me share some of the features of B.Tech Mechanical in LPU. B.Tech ME is an Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal etc. Specialisation. There will be trainings, projects and guest lectures collaborated with industries help to learn from real life situations. After completing this course students will be : Ability to design using Design of Machine Elements theories and to create prototypes using relevant manufacturing technology. Capability of building efficient energy conversion systems using basic understanding of Thermodynamics, Heat transfer and Fluid Mechanics. Demonstrate the ability to propose cost effective optimized solutions using simulated environment of Computer aided design, computer aided manufacturing and computer aided engineering. Effectively build and communicate the solutions using learnings from basic mechanical engineering, basic sciences, mathematics and computational skills and tools. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services. Dear Shivam, Which University is better It all depends upon the prospect of university/college that you are looking forward to like the curriculum and study, recruitment and placement rate and campus infrastructure and life. It would be a good choice to opt for Lovely Professional University as in the present scenario this is the university which caters to the all round development of its students and nurtures it with care to boost the career to a pinnacle of ultimate success which might be the envy of many. My brother has completed B.Tech Mechanical from LPU, His experience at LPU was amazing, Currently he is working with XL Dynamics with decent package. He told me, Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. International tech-fests and competitions encourage all-round development in our students in addition to giving them international exposure. University organized International Go kart Championship which is a student initiated automotive event the first international event of its kind receiving participation from all over ASIA. The Mechanical Department has highly experienced and qualified staff pursuing their research in thrust areas such as CAD/CAM, Mechanical design, Thermal engineering, Fluid dynamics, Manufacturing Engineering, Tool design and Flexible Manufacturing Systems/Automation. The Department has to its credit more than 100 research publications in International, National Journals including prestigious ASME Transactions, International Conference and National Conference. The faculty members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They are always ready to help the students. During the exams, professors arrange special classes for the students to help them revise better and clear their doubts. LPU is the better choice to pursue your engineering. LPU does provide B.Tech in Mechanical.
