Dear Kapil, In IT sector, there is a growing demand of management qualification to further upgrade career to senior management position thus better salary packages. At senior level, you are expected to manage projects and thus require management skills. Rest depend on you what career path you would like to take and opportunities you would like to discover.
    All the best Kapil.!

MBA is good option but based on your own career aspirations you need to select a suitable MBA specialization e.g. systems, operations, marketing etc. Alternatively you could go for a quality management course (six sigma/ CMM/ ISO-9000, etc.
If you are technology oriented this could be a great course option as you can leverage your tech background better and also help you rise in the management cadre as quality testing and business process re-engineering /innovation/transformation roles (that you can get into post the quality certificate course) are always in high demand in IT /ITES/ BPO sector.
