Will my 12th percentage matter in my B.Tech admission (lateral entry)?
I have 55% in 12th and 44% in PCM which is less than the minimum requirement to do B.Tech. So I had to pursue a Diploma and now that I have completed it, will my 12th percentage matter in my B.Tech admission? If it does, what is the point of me doing a Diploma? What should I do?

Yes, anyway The weightage of 12th standard's percentage matters the most. A minimum of 50% is a must.
