Will my B.Tech academic scored be considered to get a seat into IITs for M.Tech?

In majority of IITs, the eligibility criteria for admission in M.Tech is minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60% of marks or first class in the qualifying degree of Bachelor in engineering. You will have to appear in GATE exam to seek admission in IITs for M.Tech.
