Will my backlogs affect my chances of getting Canada's visa?
I completed my mechanical engineering in 2016 with 7.6 CGPI & have 5 backlogs in total in the 4th semester which have been cleared on the 1st attempt. I have 6.5 (no less than 6) in IELTS & 301 in GRE. Can I get visa under SPP category or for Master degree?

Backlogs do affect however if your overall profile is strong you can be considered. Applying to a non-SPP category will be competitive as most universities require at least 75%, you can still write to the universities and check. You have to research extensively to see what topics can be taken or innovate new strategy/ design by taking up the cues from previous researches.

Hi. However, if your entire profile is strong, you can still be evaluated despite backlogs.
