Yes, if he got above 75% in PCM and admission on the basis of JEE Mains performance depends on the category to which he belongs. -
In India, many colleges which give admission on the basis of JEE Mains, you can get NIT or IIIT & other colleges. You can get admission in LPU, SRM, JSS, Noida, etc. -
He has to score well in JEE Advanced to get admission in IITs and NITs.
