Will my campus life be better at Franklin and Marshall College than staying off-campus?

<p>There are many benefits to living on the Marshall University campus, including living close, smart, secure, involved, enjoyable, and connected. Because campus housing covers more than just the cost of your room, it's also less expensive than living off campus. Other costs include 24-hour maintenance, cable, internet, utilities, food plans, and programs. Furthermore, studies indicate that GPAs are higher for on-campus residents. The safety of its inhabitants is Housing and Residence Life's first responsibility. To that end, the residence halls have manned front offices at the entrances and are locked twenty-four hours a day. Living off campus, however, encourages independence and responsibility, which can support the development of life skills and social maturity.</p>
