Will my campus life be better at Whittier College than staying off-campus?

<p>Living on campus at Whittier College is better. Students are required to live on campus unless they meet the exemption requirements for off-campus housing. If students want to live off campus they also have to fill out financial hardship form. The college has five residence halls some of which are homes to these communities. In a theme community, students live together in a certain section of the residence hall and take part in activities that align with their shared interests on the social, intellectual, and personal fronts. For overseas students who are missing their culture, this sounds like an intriguing opportunity. The on-campus housing cost ranges from $6,879 to $9,984 depending on the room type.&nbsp;</p><p>If students are eligible for off-campus housing they can find apartments ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 per month. Besides rent students have to manage utilities.&nbsp;</p>
