Go for National Eligibility Test organised by CSIR (Centre for Scientific and Industrial Research), if you qualify to be a JRF (junior research fellow) , then you can apply in ISRO for Ph.D in Astronomy , even you can apply for IIT. No sooner you can complete you Ph.D and your thesis gets published
