Will my engineering marks hamper my chances in PES University? I have 53% in engineering,83.5 percentile 647/800 in MAT.

No, ur engineering % ll not make any difference in ur admission to PES University. What makes difference is your MAT , CMAT and pgcet score makes difference as u havw to get 50% and more in MAT or CMAT and in case of pgcet ( govt. Quota seats ) u should come below 100 rank . You can definitely apply

Thanks a lot for the reply,m also planning to write pgcet next year coz the fee through mat is high,i belong to OBC cat-1,what do u think is the cut off for this category,do they have any seat allotments for cat 1 ?
