    As of now, the sector is doing pretty well. The Ministry of Food Processing India, Harsimrat Kaur Badal is taking various steps to help boost the food processing sector and also boost the nations economy.
    The government has allowed 100% FDI in the food processing sector in order to attract foreign investors and allow them to sell products that are manufactured only in India.
    Also, 101 cold chains have been sanctioned by the government that aims to reduce post harvest losses faced by the farmers f the country. The projects will generate employment for 3.5 lakh persons and benefit 15 lakh farmers. This will double the farmers income and al
