A personal opinion is that for a B Tech programme your marks in +2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics shall be at least 50% with a reasonably good score in state level or national level entrance examinations. To a partial extent, the problem is felt, but not totally.Steady academic pursuits through out the career are always advised and so, try to be as consistent as possible in your studies. Never postpone your performance to a later date.
