Will my life on campus be better at Marshall University than staying off-campus?

Living on campus is also less expensive than living off-campus because campus housing includes not only the cost of your room but also utilities, cable, and internet access, 24-hour maintenance, meal plan, and programming. Additionally, research shows that students who live on campus have higher GPAs. Housing and Residence Life makes the safety of its residents a top priority, and the residence halls are locked 24 hours a day and have staffed front desks at the entrances. However, Living off campus promotes self-reliance and accountability, which can aid in the growth of important life skills and social maturity.</p>
