Will my life on campus be better at University of Scranton than staying off-campus?

<p style="text-align: justify;">Becoming familiar with what living off campus entails is the best way to help ensure a successful housing search and rental experience, and OCCSL has several resources available for you to use!</p><p style="text-align: justify;">First-year and sophomore students are required to live on campus. Junior students must seek permission to live off campus during the fall semester of their sophomore year. Seniors have permission to live off campus but are encouraged to connect with the Assistant Director for Off Campus and Commuter Student Life to make sure they're best equipped and supported in this decision.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">The university&rsquo;s residence halls are centrally located, near the libraries and dining halls. The campus is particularly walkable, so students do not need a vehicle to get to class. All the residence halls are located near each other, making socializing convenient.&nbsp;</p><p style="text-align: justify;">At this university 60% of the students live in college-owned, -operated or -affiliated housing and 40% of students live off.Off Campus Student Life (OCSL), through the Office of Residence Life, provides support through a variety of programs and services that are designed to meet the specific needs of students who live off-campus.</p>
