will my mat 2012 score be useful to get admissions in some good b schools for 2013 academics???

as most of the b schools had put an end to their admissions for this year academics, i would like to take admission for the next academics. will it be a better idea? some how, i listened that the may MAT will not be useful r helpful one to get admissions for the next session,is it true? pls convey
