Will my seat will remain or forgo if I accept a seat in IMUCET councilling and wait for upgradation?

IMUCET councilling. My CET rank is 4147 and I am getting imu Chennai for B.Sc. Nautical Science, I want imu Mumbai for B.Tech or imu Kolkata, or imu Mumbai for B.Sc. Nautical Science.

If you accept the seat in IMUCET counselling then the other seats will remain.
