Will my SGPA change after I clear my backlogs? Is my career over?

I am enrolled in BPT at Neotia University and have 6 backlogs in my first semester (I failed in 2 subjects and was absent in 4 subjects).

When you clear a backlog, the new grade obtained in that subject is used in the SGPA calculation, replacing the previous failing grade. This can lead to an improvement in your overall semester grade average. So it doesn't impact your career.
