    NTA did not lower the NEET cutoff for this year. On the contrary, the NEET 2024 cutoff marks is higher as compared to last year. NTA determines the NEET cut off based on the factors such as difficulty level of the exam, total number of test-takers, total number of seats, candidate category and programme. 

     The table below brings the qualifying or pass marks of NEET over the past few years.

    NTA did not lower the NEET cutoff for this year. On the contrary, the NEET 2024 cutoff marks is higher as compared to last year. NTA determines the NEET cut off based on the factors such as difficulty level of the exam, total number of test-takers, total number of seats, candidate category and programme.NEET UG 2024 cut-off sees a significant increase: Check category-wise qualifying percentile and marks range. NEET UG 2024 results reveal 67 candidates scoring a perfect 720, becoming joint toppers. 53 are male, including 16 OBC, 5 economically weaker general, and 2 SC category achievers.Although there was a rise in the NEET UG cut-off
