Will NTA lower the NEET cut off for this year?

<p>Yes, NTA lowered the NEET cutoff for this year. As the difficulty level of the NEET 2025 exam was higher than last year and the number of test takers was lower, the NEET 2025 cutoff has reduced than last year. <p>NTA did not lower the NEET cutoff for this year. On the contrary, the NEET 2024 cutoff marks is higher as compared to last year. NTA determines the NEET cut off based on the factors such as difficulty level of the exam, total number of test-takers, total number of seats, candidate category and programme.NEET UG 2024 cut-off sees a significant increase: Check category-wise qualifying percentile and marks range. NEET UG 2024 results reveal 67 candidates scoring a perfect 720, becoming joint toppers. 53 are male, including 16 OBC, 5 economically weaker general, and 2 SC category achievers.Although there was a rise in the NEET UG cut-off last year, this year, we expect the cut-off for all categories to dip slightly. The general category cut-off could be around 720-130, the SC Category cut-off could be around 129-108, the ST category cut-off could be 128-106 &amp; OBC category cut-off could be 130-108.&rdquo;</p>
