Will PGDM be deemed equivalent to MBA if it is approved by AICTE but not by AIU? Can I get a good job after completing PGDM?

I have completed B.Tech in chemical engineering in 2012 and having 2.6 years of work experience in production, but I have a gap after job. Now, I have applied for PGDM (AICTE approved) but the course is not accredited by AIU.
