Will preparing for CAT and other MBA exams help to crack bank POs like SBI, IBPS and others?

Yes, it will assist you to crack PO exams, as the format to a large extent is same. You need to check on the format and try and cover up topics that are not part of the CAT curriculum.

Hello, CAT is considered as the mother of all entrance tests. That means, its syllabus contains everything that any management or banking entrance test constitutes. It's better to go with CAT than going for a specific test.

Yes, it is because the portion is about same but it depends on exams as CAT has the higher level of study than PO exams. The most similar exams for POs are the MAH MBA CET as the exams itself is conducted by IBPS.

Well, it depends on your performance and hard work if your MBA entrance exams score is good then you can definitely crack the banking exams because the syllabus of MBA entrance exams and banking exams is same like English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Data Analysis and Interpretation. IIM Calcutta has only mentioned accepting GMAT score for admission into EMBA courses.

However, CAT is commonly accepted by other similar institutes for both MBA and MBAEx courses. Thus, candidates are advised to ask admission desk for confirmation on this question.
