Will pursuing B.Sc in physics along with civil service coaching be a better idea than pursuing EEE?

Yes, you can prepare for IAS.
This is the right time to prepare for and decide for IAS as well.You have enough time to prepare. But you can apply for the exam only after finishing your graduation.
Eligibility criteria:
- Indian Citizenship
- Graduation from a Govt. recognized university.
- Age of 21 to 30 years.
- If you are OBC and SC/ST category then you have age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively.
You are in the first year so you have enough time to prepare for IAS.
Note: On this, my advice you is don't be in the wrong impression of having ample of time, so you will make out this easily. UPSC having hardly 1000 vacancies for all...more
