will SAS certification will help me or prove to be adventitious , as I am pursuing MBA in Finance ? I did my BBA(H) in my graduation;fresher

Hello Rahul,Hope you are doing wel.!! The only benefit I can think of is that the certification has made me more confident while applying for jobs, however I haven't seen any success and haven't got a job yet. In one of the interviews I got rejected because the employer thought I wont be able to perform right from day 1. It was a 6 month contract. C'mon, no one was born a SAS programmer. I believe, its still important to get the certification rather than sitting on old programming languages. Times ahead are challenging and will require people who seem committed to analytics and learning new techniques methodically. SAS Certification is a 'check the box' phenomenon. It allows companies to tout that they are 'certified', and is required by some companies before they'll do business with you. As far as its 'common sense' value, it only says that you have a process in place and that you follow that process. It doesn't say that the process actually makes sense. Hope it helps.
