    Yes. CAT or MAT score along with a consistent academic performance is considered by IIM's. It doesn't mean that you must score 80+%. Above average is preferable.

    Yes, almost all colleges look for previous academic performance. IIMs want to ensure that your good performance in CAT is not just a fluke and you have a good history of academic performance. Hence is very important that you keep your academic performance as good as you can.
