    All are good, but CSE is having more opportunities and a good scope for placements. If you're quick learner, then you can easily get a high package, in another branch you will get little challenges at placement but as you get on offer everything will settle down.

    Don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. If you like playing with machines/motors or electricity go ahead with Mechanical engineering. Or Electrical engineering. If you are India, after studying Electronics and communication engineering most of the students gets job/work in IT companies. Only few percent gets chance in electronics companies.     (a) It is expected that research in field of artificial intelligence will not only help human beings day to day life but impact all aspects of businesses also. Lot of money is being put and the research by educational institution and large MNCs. It requires lot of excellent CSE graduates.
    (b) There are multiple job opportunities available in the field of IT. As per NASSCOM Indian IT industry revenues grew by 13% in FY2015 and it added 2,30,000 employees in FY15. NASSCOM has forecasted that IT industry exports will grow by 12-14% and domestic market by 15-17% in FY2016. It is an excellent career opportunities.
