  • No. The authorities will not give any partial marking to the candidates based on the steps taken to derive the answer. If the final answer is incorrect, the candidates will experience negative marking even if their steps were correct. Since the entrance examination is objective and multiple-choice in nature, only the final answer marked in the OMR sheet will matter to the authorities. Therefore, the candidates are advised to carefully check the questions during the exam before answering it.
