Will the gap of 1 year affect my job search?
I completed my BE in EIE 2015 with CGPA of 7.68 and no backlogs. I did 3 months industrial automation course and earned several certificates in course era and Internshala.

You will not face any problem in getting a job because of gap. You are advised to look aggressively for job, both, in government and Private sector.
