    Hi Sandesh,
    Yes the M.E (equivalent to M.Tech) students pursuing master's course in engineering are eligible to get the stipend provided they need to do a teaching assistantship during the tenure of their education.

    It is not the stipend but teaching assistantship programme in which you will have to share some of the allocated work assigned to you. It is based on interview and academic scores you get in the first sem. Generally, there is a lot of work so most of us manage to get it, the stipend is 50000 per semester. All the best!
