Will the NEET exam pattern remain the same as last year?

<p>The 200-minute NEET exam is paper-and-pencil based and consists of 200 multiple-choice (MCQ) questions of an objective nature. One must attempt 180 of these questions. The exam has a total score of 720. Each question has four possible responses. For every right response, four marks are awarded, while for every incorrect response, one score is deducted. Questions that are not attempted or are attempted more than once will not result in a failing grade.</p>

<p>Last year, the NEET 2025 exam pattern underwent major changes. It is expected that the NEET 2026 exam pattern will remain the same as last year. The total number of questions and duration in minutes have been reduced from 200 to 180 in NEET 2025. The total marks of the exam is 720. Each question has four answer options. Each correct answer fetches four marks and there is one mark negative marking for each wrong answer. There is no negative marking for unattempted questions or extra attempted questions.&nbsp;</p>
