    Yes students need to study Class 11 and Class 12 important Science stream subjects to prepare for PU CET UG exam.

    Hi.

    Yes, the PU CET UG 2026 syllabus generally includes topics from both Class 11 and Class 12, depending on the stream and subject you choose. 

     Science Stream (PCM/PCB)

    Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology:

    • Class 11 topics – Fundamental concepts, basic laws, and introductory chapters.

    • Class 12 topics – Advanced concepts, numerical problems, and in-depth chapters.

    Example:

    • Physics: Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Optics, Modern Physics

    • Chemistry: Physical, Organic, Inorganic Chemistry (both classes)

    • Mathematics: Calculus, Algebra, Vectors, Probability (Class 11 + 12)

    • Biology: Genetics, Evolution, Human Physiology, Ecology
