    You need to score above 180 marks in JEE mains to join NIT.

    No, from 2017 there will be no weightage given to the class 12th marks to get admission into NIT. You just need to score minimum 75% marks in class 12th or be in the top 20 percentile to be eligible for JEE main 2017.
