HI Sourav! Recognition and approval by the two bodies that you mentioned UGC and AICTE means a lot when it comes to further studies (especially PhD), moreover there are many PG colleges also which don't accept unrecognized or unapproved degrees. So I think it matters a lot when it comes to further studies. But when it comes to a job or career concern then your talent and your skills matter. Many corporate bodies don't bother to intake candidates with unrecognized and unapproved degrees.
I hope it resolves your query.

Engineering, Managment, Hotel Management, Pharmacy etc. come under AICTE. But if you have a UGC status such as for deemed Universities, a problem is unlikely.
