Will there be a problem in appearing for JEE Mains if I had arts as the 5th subject in 12th?
My subjects in 12th include PCM with English & art (painting). I am doing class 12th from NIOS board & preparing for IIT JEE.

As per JEE Mains eligibility in class 12th, you must had 3 subjects i.e. PCM. As you have said that you had arts, so you are not eligible for JEE Mains. If you are not satisfied by my opinion, you can visit mains site: jeemain.nic.in

No problem, you are eligible for JEE Mains and some rules have been changed for JEE Mains 2017, you can read the rules and eligibility criteria, etc. from JEE Mains information brochure.
